Missing the Mark
The former Biscoff website served primarily as a gateway to a separate ecommerce site — so visitors had little to no relationship with the brand online. Biscoff.com lacked the messaging, rich content, and imagery to support brand equity, establish two-way communication with its constituents, and achieve strong SEO. Biscoff also wanted maximum flexibility over seasonal promotions to both retail and wholesale consumers.
A Recipe for Success
The robust architecture of the new website enables visitors to explore product offerings, link to product purchase more intuitively, and search and filter rich content like recipes and party ideas. In addition, Biscoff’s enthusiastic fans can pinpoint the place they discovered Biscoff on an interactive map and share tips on where and when to enjoy the cookie. Sumptuous photography conveys the Biscoff story, and supporting feature areas make it easy for Biscoff to highlight their product and seasonal interests as needed.
Sharing the Love
Built using the Drupal platform, Biscoff has complete and near-instant control over its content. Whether on desktop, tablet, or mobile, Biscoff.com visitors can experience the Biscoff brand and share their love of Biscoff’s unique cookie or spread with others on the new, responsive site.
