Project6 Design Announces Redesign of Bay Area Nonprofit Legal Center Website

Award-winning San Francisco Bay Area web design agency Project6 Design is proud to launch the website redesign for Disability Rights Advocates.

The site was built using the Drupal content management system, and is fully compliant with Section 508 web accessibility standards.

Disability Rights Advocates is a nonprofit legal center whose mission is to ensure dignity, equality, and opportunity for people with all types of disabilities throughout the United States and worldwide.

The new Disability Rights Advocates website features a clean design and navigation, the ability to search cases by Life Area and/or Disability, a pressroom, resources, and the ability make online donations. Most importantly, the new website design and build is in full compliance with Section 508 web accessibility standards, and is accessible to people with a diverse range of hearing, movement, sight, and cognitive ability. The key accessibility features include a text resize tool, a color contrast theme, skip to content navigation, and access keys.

Larry Paradis, Executive Director and Co-Director of Litigation for Disability Rights Advocates, commented: “As a nonprofit legal center serving the needs of people with disabilities, we are pleased with Project6 Design’s talent in development and design, which culminated in a website that is fully accessible and allows us to present our work and its impact in a professional and engaging manner.”

The website redesign was also built with Drupal, an open-source content management system. Drupal is one of the most popular content management systems, and it allows the Disability Rights Advocates team to update and maintain website content quickly and easily.
